When will we see Al Watson again?  Al has been absent recently.  Has he been seen?
Al Watson, honorary member of RB Sunrise Rotary and a former president of the club, was actually sighted Thursday, Sep 4, 2008 in the RB Von's parking lot! A mystery has been solved.

However for future sighting we will need to have help from Rotary Clubs across the country. Today Al and his wife, Carolyn (Scooter), and their cat, Misty, will begin a trip that will carry them to Las Vegas and then on to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  They will then continue on to New England for the fall colors.  As the fall progresses they will make their way south until they ultimately reach Key West, Florida for the winter.

Al offered a tour of "home" for their travels.  For those interested in motor homes, Al's 33 foot long Winnebago Voyage has two pullouts, and a 450 hp gasoline engine.  Al calls the Winnebago "Gussie" because it guzzles gas so well.  Gussie is equipped with a double door full-sized refrigerator, which Al was stocking with some last minute provisions.

He and Carolyn will be using a red Honda Helix motor scooter to get around when Gussie is parked.

Al will be sending us photos from his travels.  When I said that I could call his photo record, "Al's Travels", he demurred by saying that perhaps a better name would be "Gullible's Travels.

As Al and "Scooter" depart on this well-earned adventure, we can all wish them well and look forward to hearing their news and seeing them when they eventually return.
