Long time club member, Sue Herndon, was celebrated Saturday, February 17, recognizing her beautiful life and giving ways.
Sue passed in November and her family and friends recently celebrated her amazing life at a gathering hosted by the North County Special Needs Foundation.
Especially poignant was having Sue's autistic grandson, Shane, now 14 years old, delivering a beautiful speech he wrote. Standing tall at the podium in his new blue suit, tie and shoes, he shared his stories about how much his grandmother loved him. Among all the words and accolades bestowed upon her this day, such a feat by Shane would've been to her absolute delight.
