Scripps Ranch Interact Helps RB Sunrise Event

 Scripps Ranch HS Interact Club members are shown above with their advisor, RB Sunriise member Phil Schneider. They were on hand to help with our Fifth Annual Reverse Opportunity Drawing FunRaiser. The drawing is unique in that every ticket is drawn.. Then all tickets are drawn. Along the way there are various cash and donated items that are won . The final ticket drawn wins the grand prize of  $5000. This event is called a Funraiser because as the tickets are drawn the ticket holders get more and more excited as the tickets are drawn. Everyone wins something, but some of the prizes are funny.  When the final ticket is drawn, all tickets that didn't win a cash prize are then collected and then a consolation prize of $200 is drawn. This makes for plenty of excitement and fun

The Interact students helped before the dinner by selling tickets. During the drawing they were the ones who helped record the ticket numbers as each was drawn. They also were the ones who took the prizes to the winners.  Their assistance was a key reason that the event went smoothly.  Our club has learned that when we get these students to help in this event, everyone has a good time and the students have a chance to make a difference. Again this year, we were greatful for their help.
