Scouting 100th Anniv Food Drive

February 8, 2010 was the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouts in the United States.  To celebrate Scouting during this 100th year, District Governor Marge Cole is asking all Rotary Clubs in District 5340  Rotary Clubs to support the Rotary District 5340 Boy Scouts of America of America Food Drive.  The goal is to collect 100 tons of non-perishable food to be distributed through Food Bank in San Diego and Imperial Counties.  RB Sunrise Rotary Club will be collecting food at their meetings on March 2 and March 9, 2010. 


If you can help, don't go out and buy food to donate.  You can survey your pantry and bring non-perishable foods to the RB Sunrise Rotary meeting on the dates above. Club Scouting coordinator, Jerry Hetherington, will collect the food and take it to the storage site for distribution. If you can help, but can't bring food to the meetings, contact the RB Sunrise Website Administrator.
