RB Sunrise Rotarians and volunteers at Buckheart Ranch - 2009
Again this year RB Sunrise Rotary will join the 60 plus Rotary clubs in San Diego and Imperial Counties in performing over 200 projects on a single day - April 24.  Rotarians at work began in this Rotary District in 2006.  Since that time this idea has spread to 38 districts representing almost 100,000 Rotarians and 2329 clubs. Helping Rotarians will be members of Rotaract and Interact clubs and Rotary sponsored Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops plus Rotarian's family members.  RB Sunrise's project again this year is to work at Buckheart Ranch, a school for troubled boys.  The teen age boys live at the ranch and learn life skills and complete high school there.  In the past a large percentage of these boys, who before coming to the ranch were destined to drop out of school have not only finished high school, but have gone on to college with scholarships. Because of the number of tasks, you are invited to join with RB Sunrise members and volunteers to work on the ranch to make it a better place.  You will be serving with others who live Rotary's motto: Service About Self. Contact us to find out how to work with us!
