RB Sunrise Rotary to help TIjuana Children's Cancer Center

Paul Gorman, International Service Chair for RB Sunrise Rotary, and member Rex Teets met in Tijuana on Saturday, July 9 with members of Club Rotario Tijuana Milenio Minarete to plan how to assist in their project to raise money to expand the facilites at the Pediatric Oncology Center of Baja California in Tijuana.  The Tijuana club will do fundraising in Mexico and oversee the project as it progresses. RB Sunrise will assist in gaining support from other Rotary clubs in San Diego and across the country to help this excellent facility expand its capabilities. This partnership is the way in which Rotary International has provided a mechanism for Rotary clubs to have a international reach to their efforts to "Reach Within to Embrace Humanity", (Rotary International's theme for 2011-2012).
