RB Sunrise Rotary Club at its May 3, 2016 meeting provided a $1,000 grant to the Ed Brown Senior Center.  In the above photo, RB Sunrise Rotary Community Service Director Nasrin Barbee is shown presenting the facsimile check to Lynn Wolsey, President of the Board of Directors of The Ed Brown Senior Center.

 

The Ed Brown Senior Center for Active Adults (“The Ed Brown Senior Center”) is a Community Resource Center that offers events, and provides programs, classes, and services to mature adults interested in maximizing and enjoying the best years of their lives.  Specialized classes that are offered may also benefit younger members of the community who have physical limitations brought on by accident or disease.  The Ed Brown Senior Center promotes community engagement by providing leadership, encouraging philanthropy and fostering collaboration among area agencies and the general public.
