May 10, 2010 at 5 pm in India, the Kangaroo Mother care project that RB Sunrise Rotary initiated as an international matching grant project at the suggestion of member, Sonali Soni.  Spearheaded for RB Sunrise by member Paul Gorman, this project involved the participation of several clubs internationally. 

The clubs involved with raising the funds that were matched by Rotary District 5340 and Rotary International Grants were Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo, Sunrise (San Diego), the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara, the Rotary Club of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and co-operating club in India, the Rotary Club of Delhi Chanakyapuri.

Very pleased to inform you that the KMC Project was inaugurated today at 5pm. While a detailed report follows here are a few quick snaps. The Warmer beds pic shows the ward which has 3 beds under this project marked with a ribbon.
 
I take this opportunity to thank participating Clubs and Districts in taking this project to fruitition. It will truly help so many children and their families.
