RB Sunrise Ladies Night
On Wednesday April 12, female RB Sunrise members and female spouses gathered at the Barrel Room. From the smiles seen on the faces in the picture below, the RB Sunrise Rotary Ladies Social must have been a fun event.

RB Sunrise Project Mercy Mexico House Build
On Saturday, April 15, several RB Sunrise members and family members got up early and travelled to the Otay Mesa border crossing. The as a group, they crossed into Mexico and were led to the building site. In the first picture below, you can see that the cement slab had already been poured. A blue tarp covers the makeshift shelter that the family was using.

This second photo below shows the first roof section being raised. Note that the portion of the this panel that will be outside is already painted.

In the photo below at the end of the day, you can see that the house is complete. The roofing material still needs to be installed, but the major work is done. The group of volunteers shown with the recipient family and workers from Project Mercy have provided a secure home for another family. Thanks to these volunteers and funding by RB Sunrise Rotary Maria and her husband, Hermando, and their children have a new home.
