Abraxas Student of the Month (SoM)

As part of its ongoing partnership with Abraxas High
School, RBS RC announced their Student Of The
Month award for April 2010
at the
breakfast meeting honoring
Ashley's academic accomplishments.
The presentation to Ashley Sherpa was made by teacher
Amy Shamansky and Rotarian Joe Giamanco.
"We're VERY proud of Ashley" reported Ms. Shamansky.
"She was struggling with her work and growing stale. Yet today she's turned
around 180 degrees."
"The best part" Ms. Shamansky confided "is that Ashley
expects to graduate in December, just in time to celebrate her birthday."
Ashley was greeted enthusiastically by the members of
the RB Sunrise Rotary. She was also given a gift certificate and an award in
honor of his achievement.
