Update Your Profile

We are nearing the end of the Rotary Year 2017-2018.  Rotary now issues club invoices for dues and liability insurance based on the information about member that is in the clubs membership roster. For this reason, every club and district worldwide has to insure that their membership rosters are up to date.

Before the ability of club management software such as ClubRunner and ClubDB to integrate their databases with the RI membership database, clubs and districts received a paper copy of the membership roster which had to be reviewed and updated manually.  The invoice that RI prepared was then based on that information.  The resulting invoice could be changed to reflect changes.

Now because of database integration, RI no longer has a provision for correction of the dues invoice once it is generated.  For this reason, clubs and districts have to insure the accuracy of their records.

Members must assist in the process of maintaining their profile by logging on to the club website and clicking on the member login link on the upper right corner of the home page.  This will bring up the login screen.  Once you login, the home page will reappear and there will now be a Member Area link on the upper right corner of the screen.  Once you click on that link the Admin page will load.  The first link under My ClubRunner on the left side of the Admin screen is Edit My Profile.  Click on this link.  Click Edit in each section and make any corrections to your personal profile information that are needed.  Please fill in all of the information blanks.  (Information about birthdate is used by RI, the district and our club only for demographic purposes.  Information about individual records is not published.) After correction of your profile information, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.  Check all of the tabs on the profile screen to update information such as your sponsor.

Thank you for your help in maintaining the accuracy of your member information profile.  Changes such as a new phone number or email address are especially important.

Trudy Armstrong - A Person of Action

Corrected Story

Rotary International's current marketing theme is that Rotarians are People of Action.  Building on that theme, Rotary District 5340 used that theme in signs that were prominently displayed at the San Diego International Airport in January.  These signs were in place to welcome the District Governor Elects as they arrived to attend the Rotary International Assembly.

At the District 5340 Governor's Dinner on June 4, recognitions were given to Rotarians who have served meritoriously as People of Action during the last year.  Our own Trudy Armstrong was included as a Person of Action for her tireless energy and the successful organization of this year's Foundation Seminar. Trudy's leadership contributed to a very successful Foundation seminar. Congratulations to Trudy for this well deserved recognition.
