In order to get to copies of the forms log on our website and the go to the admin page. Scroll down on the left side of the page to Club Documents. Click that link. This year's festival fundraising documents are in the second folder from the top. Open the folder to get to the PDF copies of those forms.
There is an important article on the District 5340 webpage. Apparently, the Rotary Club of National City was mentioned in an article in the Union Tribune newspaper as being directly involved and an accusation against a member the city council of National City.
The article restates the position adopted decades ago by Rotary International that while Rotary Clubs may have at their meetings speakers advocating political positions, these speakers are there solely to assist members in making an informed decision on any issues discussed. Rotary Club's may not however directly advocate or support any political position or use club resources for such activities. For more information about this go to the following links.
Rotary International partners with outside organizations so that Rotary clubs can utilize the resources of these organizations in order to plan more effective and sustainable projects. These partners include:
Habitat for Humanity
Ashoka
Institute for Economics and Peace
International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness
Peace Corps
Shelter Box
The United States Agency for International Development

Rick Coburn has informed the club that he has a business commitment that will take him out of San Diego for about 6 week. As a result he is now on a leave of absence.

Red badge members are especially encouraged to attend this meeting in order to meet Rotarians from around our district and get points for earning blue badge status. What makes Rotary special is the fact that no matter what club you call home, Rotarians have a heart for service to their community and the world. Click the link below to register for this event.
