There is a change in the speaker schedule for Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The schedulced speaker cancelled. The speaker will be Celeste Young. She will speak about North Island Community Prevention Programs. Celeste is a manager with Mental Health Systems.
Note: The Country Club of Rancho Bernardo will be closed for 2 weeks beginning on Oct 6. We will be having Rotational Breakfasts on Oct 7 at various locations. On Oct 14, we will meet at Belmont Village at a Meet without a Meal (There will be coffee and pastries).

The assignment for the Who Am I includes providing the positive thought at the beginning of the meeting and introducing guests and visiting Rotarians during the meeting.
Cheering for Rotary assignment includes selling opportunity drawing tickets.
Rancho BEERnardo IPA Beer Tasting Festival was a huge success on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Over 450 people attended the event at the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead. All of the planning and work by RB Sunrise Rotary and The URGE Gastropub paid off for this successful event. The festival was well received by all in attendance. Music supplied from Z CODE band made for a party atmosphere all afternoon. The great hamburger and bratwurst sandwiches for sale from The URGE insured that no one need be hungry.
This event is RB Sunrise Rotary's main fundraising event for the year. The final report for the event isn't in yet, but initial reports indicate that this event raised more money than any fundraiser in recent years and was far more fun for all involved!
