The assignment for the Who Am I includes providing the positive thought at the beginning of the meeting and introducing guests and visiting Rotarians during the meeting.
The member assigned to Rotary Minute/ Cheer for Rotary is the assigned Greeter for that day and also is tasked with selling opportunity drawing tickets.
RB Sunrise Rotary will be sponsoring a house building project on Saturday, November 7. Now is the time to get prepared for this hands on international club project. The event will start in the early morning. Participants (club members and family members) will be spending the entire day in Tijuana. Club members are reminded that a passport is necessary to re-enter the United States at the border crossing. In past house build projects, participants have remarked about how rewarding this experience was for them.
Membership News
This month we will be inducting 2 members. One is new member Judith Tronsrue. The other inductee will be Kathy Weyer. Kathy is a returning former member.
District Foundation Seminar
On Saturday, Nov 14, District 5340 will be presenting a Rotary Foundation Seminar. The seminar will be at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. The seminar will run from 8:00 am until noon. This seminar is a great way to learn about the fantastic things our district is doing with funding generated here and then matched by district and global grants. This is always an inspiring seminar. Come and learn about the ways our district is changing lives locally and abroad with projects for literacy, safe drinking water, and proper sanitation. Learning about Rotary's impact on people around the world will inspire you to want to share with others to truly Be A Gift to the World.
