Our speakerfor Tuesday, April 11 is Todd Shetter, CEO of ActivCare Living. ActivCare at 4S Ranchis a specialized senior living community that serves the changing needs of those with memory loss by offering a spectrum of living options and three levels of memory care from beginning to end stages of the disease.
Todd will be accompanied by Ashley Pearce, the Executive Director at ActiveCare at 4S Ranch. We will learn about the latest in memory care and what the facility at 4S Ranch has to offer.

The member assigned to Who Am I is also responsible for providing the positive thought at the beginning of the meeting and introducing visiting Rotarians and guests.
The member assigned to Rotary Minute is the assigned Greeter for that day and also is tasked with selling opportunity drawing tickets.
On Tuesday, March 14, RB Sunrise Rotary donated $1000 to the Thousand Smiles Foundation. Picture with longtime Thousand Smiles Board member and dedicated voluteer, Kim Muslusky are Heather Ray and Paul Pintek, co-chairs of RB Sunrise Rotary's International Service Committee.
The Thousand Smiles Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on care of children in Mexico from financially challenged families who suffer from lack of dental care and from maxillo-facial deformities such as cleft palate. The Thousand Smiles Foundation began in 1985 as a project of the Rotary Club of National City. Kendra Jeffcoat Memorial Service
The memorial service for Kendra Jeffcoat will be held on April 1, 2017 at 10:00 am in the sanctuary of the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 17010 Pomerado Road in Rancho Bernardo, (the west side of Pomerado Road just north of the intersection of Pomerado Road and RB Road.
The reception will be at the Bernardo Winery at 1:00 pm.
Evening Club Meeting in May
On May 23, RB Sunrise will meet in the evening instead of our normal meeting time at 7 am. The evening meeting will be at CCRB. The social time will be at 5;30 pm and the dinner and meeting will be at 6:00 pm.
Paul Harris Awards
Member profiles on the club website have been updated to show the current Paul Harris Award information for each member. There are an impressive number of members with multiple Paul Harris Awards.

On Tuesday, March 7, we recognized 4 members for achieving PHF +1 status. Each received a pin in recognition of their donation of a second $1000 to the Rotary Foundation. They were Laura Mellow, Peter Shusterman, Gordy Erickson, and Rick Coburn. By continuing to support the Rotary Foundation with donations, we make possible all of the projects the Rotary Foundation funds that make Rotary synonymous with doing good in the world.
