Brad Sandstrom earns Blue Badge.
l-r: Pres. Mike Moffat, Brad Sandstrom and Mary Stanton.
Brad Sandstrom who Joined RB Sunrise Rotary Club in early January has earned his Blue membership Badge.  Every new member of RB Sunrise Rotary Club becomes a Red Badge member when inducted.  In order to learn about Rotary, our Rotary District and our club, a new member has to record points by attending doing various tasks at our club meetings, attending a board meeting and attending district meetings or events.  Once the new members has accumulated a sufficient number of points, the new member is then awarded a membership plaque and a blue membership badge.
Brad Sandstrom was awarded his plaque and blue badge on April 9, 2019 in recognition of meeting this requirement.  Brad is an enthusiastic member and we look forward to having his input into the many projects our club is doing.

Lee Haney
Lee Haney, a member of RB Sunrise Rotary Club is the CFO of Holy Innocents Children's Hospital.  The hospital is located in a remote area of Uganda. A surgical suite was recently completed and is in operation.  Lee reported that the national government of Uganda has designated this hospital as the primary children's hospital for the area.  As a result there has been an large influx of infants and children who need hospital care. This influx has created a need for expansion of the hospital campus to have housing to accommodate these children.
Lee Haney is an example of the passion for improving the world through service that is the hallmark of Rotary and especially of RB Sunrise Rotary Club.
