Once the new members has accumulated a sufficient number of points, the new member is then awarded a membership plaque and a blue membership badge. Brad Sandstrom was awarded his plaque and blue badge on April 9, 2019 in recognition of meeting this requirement. | Lee Haney |
Lee Haney, a member of RB Sunrise Rotary Club is the CFO of Holy Innocents Children's Hospital. The hospital is located in a remote area of Uganda. A surgical suite was recently completed and is in operation. Lee reported that the national government of Uganda has designated this hospital as the primary children's hospital for the area. As a result there has been an large influx of infants and children who need hospital care. This influx has created a need for expansion of the hospital campus to have housing to accommodate these children. Lee Haney is an example of the passion for improving the world through service that is the hallmark of Rotary and especially of RB Sunrise Rotary Club. |
