On Tuesday, February 3, 2015,  Rancho Bernardo Sunrise heard a presentaton by portrait artist Kathy Mellos.  She is a member of the Rotary club of Encinitas, California. She explained how Palistinian and Israeli high school students come to Encinitas in order to gain a new perspective. Kathy uses her artictic ability to get these students to make portraits of each other and in the process see each other as people and not enemies.
